General Manager Landing Gear

Overview:

The GM will have profit and loss accountability & is responsible for the overall direction & administration of the Landing Gear MRO and services provided by the specific division with a sales volume between up to120 million that they are responsible for.

Education/Experience:

Master's degree (M. A.) or MBA; or a minimum of 12 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education & experience.

Experience in a Maintenance Repair Overhaul facility and or Airline MRO is a must .

Duties:

Manage the overall operations and sales/service objective of the Landing Gear business unit. Successful implementation of any Business Plan Objectives. Grow the business unit through organic growth, including increased capabilities, development of product lines & market relationships while ensuring profitability. Develop strategic & tactical plans to improve operations, customer satisfaction, cash generation, productivity & return on investment. Develop the annual budget & meet the associated commitments. Monitor this in conjunction with the budget and finance manager. Recommend annual program goals to senior management. The accurate, complete and timely submission of required financial reports, forecasts, quotations, budgets, rates, and analyses. Travel is required. All other duties may be assigned.
