Job Description
Our client has an opening for Systems Analyst.
POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for the design, implementation, and support of solutions that support client’s customer’s and associates. Responsible for the integration and support of vendor developed applications and systems; provides technical analysis and understands the functionality of the many highly complex applications and systems. Evaluate and recommend new technologies where appropriate. Adhere to regulatory and audit compliance. Provide support to colleagues regarding system and technical challenges. Evangelize and energize teams using a blend of collaboration and real-world experience. Work closely with upper management to align projects with organizational goals. Provide support for incidents, problems, and questions. Support systems to provide practical, effective, and efficient improvements that are within system constraints.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Direct experience analyzing systems to ensure they meet documented requirements
- Direct experience with implementing enterprise services and systems
- Direct experience analyzing and managing interfaces
- Build and maintain effective and collaborative relationships with a diverse range of staff.
- Lead agile delivery practices and foster a collaborative development environment.
- Participate in solutions discovery; aiding in decisions of build vs. buy to best achieve mission objectives.
- Provide information and guidance to requestors and end users regarding project needs and requirements
- Create and manage application release schedules by working with vendors
- Knowledge and proficiency in developing system architecture diagrams and process workflow diagrams
- Perform system testing and validation prior to User Acceptance Testing
- Execute, test, and implement service/support requests and system updates/upgrades
- Develop support documentation for all systems through collaboration including detailed architecture diagrams
- Collaborate in creating technical recovery plans
- Perform and maintain system configurations
- Knowledge and proficiency to perform/install system updates and enhancements
- Working knowledge to implement and support application interfaces
- Create and maintain system refresh plans
- Maintain functional and technical knowledge of systems and applications to design solutions
- Knowledge and proficiency to analyze, design, and coordinate implementation and deployment of larger complex systems and environments
- Integrate, design, and coordinate platforms for projects
- Demonstrated experience as a Project Lead, as assigned
- Proficiency to administer web, application and/or database servers of systems with moderate complexity
- Research and recommend software tools to management
- Keep abreast of current technology
- Provide technical consultation and recommendations for management decisions.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or assigned

- MS SQL query development
- MS Visio for workflow, swim lane, and business process diagrams
EDUCATION, TRAINING, EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATION AND LICENSURE
- BA/BS degree in computer science, or equivalent demonstrated experience is required.
- Three (3) years or more experience in .NET development (C# or [link removed])
- Ability to adapt to various programming languages (C#, .NET, Windows Services)
- Microsoft certificate or equivalent experience (MS SQL, MS Reporting Services, .NET developer) a plus.
- Seven (7) years job related experience preferred.
- Minimum of five (5) years’ experience working in an enterprise environment
- Advanced knowledge of web services and interfaces
- Demonstrated proficiency in best practices of software development life cycle
- Proactive best practices for service delivery and handoff to production
Proven ability to support a strong member service culture.
Candidate must be a Permanent Resident, No H1B
Salary Range: $80,000 - $89,999
