Our client is seeking qualified candidates for a Lead Security Analyst for ID Administration opening to join their Global Information Systems organization.

Today, you might be developing security requirements for the implementation of a new business capability. You’ll be expected to apply your technology and information security experience to critical business initiatives such as their “Bring Your Own Device” program or securing data exchanges with their numerous suppliers and trade partners. Tomorrow, you may be working with their security operations team to adapt their security tools to new threats that face their environment. Every day, you will work with their team of both internal and outsourced professionals to reduce risk in their global corporate computing environment and shorten the amount of time that it takes us to identify and respond to threatening activity.

The Lead Security Engineer is a key role in their Information Security Governance team and works directly with the Senior Manager of Information Security and Audit Compliance to develop and oversee implementation of their security requirements throughout the company’s computing environment. Responsibilities include the following:

  • Develop security policies, procedure, and standards requirements to support the full life cycle protection of the company’s confidential information
  • Perform application and infrastructure risk assessments and threat modeling
  • Administer vulnerability scans and coordinate remediation activities
  • Research, recommend, deploy and integrate the security tools and processes needed to protect the company’s information assets and infrastructure
  • Review application security designs and drive implementation of recommendations through project teams
  • Perform periodic testing for compliance with documented security policies, procedures, and standards
  • Initiate, facilitate, and promote activities to foster Information Security awareness globally within the company
  • Monitor advancements in Information Security technologies, legislation and threats
  • Support the implementation of Information Security standards such as ISO and NIST

Qualifications:

  • Has driven organizational change management support process improvement initiatives
  • Has been a consultant to the business on implementation of key security controls

  • Has developed innovative solutions that leverage time-proven security methodologies applied to the evolving needs of their business partners
  • Maintains a deep understanding of current trends impacting the information security discipline

COMMUNICATIONS:

  • Has clear written and oral communication skills specifically as it relates to relaying business requirements
  • Can translate business language into technical actions

ADDITIONAL ITEMS

  • The individual must have a technical background, and be able to understand network, operating system, database and application development design and support
  • Advanced knowledge of security technologies such as vulnerability management, intrusion detection/prevention, log monitoring, and forensic analysis
  • Advanced communication, documentation, prioritization and change management skills
  • 2+ years in IT and experience with Security
  • Bachelor’s degree required and a CISSP certification preferred

Salary Range: $90,000 - $100,000
