Our Client is a rapidly growing company with a highly portable whole house allergen measuring system and remediation support services and they are looking to add a top producing sales representative located in the Houston, TX area to their highly compensated team. Our client has developed a highly sensitive patented technology for testing and measuring biological agents in the air, including viruses and specifically SARS-CoV-2.

In this role, the Sales Consultant is responsible for assisting in planning, implementing, and achieving sales goals and contributing to marketing programs, both short and long range, targeted toward existing and new markets. The role will report to the VP of Sales and Marketing with support by the Sales, Marketing and Customer Care team members who provide marketing, sales, and customer care support with significant opportunity to grow and develop.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identifies sales opportunities by identifying potential customers’ requirements; defining market, competitor's share, and competitor's strengths and weaknesses; achieving targeted market share and sales goals.
  • Develops rapport with key accounts; exploring specific needs; anticipating new opportunities; negotiating and closing deals.
  • Implements strategic sales plans and forecasts to achieve company’s objectives for products and services.
  • Assisting with sales forecasting activities and performance goals accordingly.
  • Implements and delivers market channel development activity and achieves sales within set territory, quotas, and goals.
  • Establishes and maintains relationships with industry influencers, key strategic partners and trade associations to promote services.
  • Coordinates with marketing activities including digital, social, PR, and e-mail.
  • Assists in the development of service positioning and pricing strategy to produce the highest possible margin and volume per sales channel.
  • Evaluates target markets and adjusts strategy to meet changing market and competitive conditions.
  • Monitors competitor products, sales and marketing activities.
  • Tracks and reports on sales results, and takes corrective action to continue to refine and improve.
  • Prepares sales reports showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed expansion.
  • Effectively uses technology based CRM (Customer Relationship Management) Salesforce, tool for lead follow-up, sale cycle disposition, pipeline management, forecasting and lost opportunity tracking. Keeps comprehensive, timely and accurate notes in the system.
  • Coordinates between sales and other team members such as operations and customer service.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 1-4 years of sales experience with a proven track record of driving results.
  • Knowledge of the allergen and/or air quality technologies and services or allergist / primary care physicians is a major plus but not required.
  • Strong computer system knowledge and working ability including the following applications: Outlook, Word, Excel, Windows, PowerPoint
  • Strong demonstration of ability and desire to learn technical based sales support materials and the ability to convey to frequently less knowledgeable customers

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Ability to drive to or fly to various meetings/client sites.
  • Travel expectation within this geography is minimally 25% up to 50%.
  • Ability to attend sales meetings at off-site locations.
