The Challenges Ahead

As a Cloud Sales Representative, you will be challenged with contributing to the pipeline and revenue by converting qualified leads, prospecting for new leads, working with technical sales engineers, and managing renewals in your territory. You will have direct revenue objectives. Our next Cloud Sales Representative will join a growing start-up team, selling our best in class cloud solution! You will manage leads across a variety of industries and applications by leveraging advanced qualification skills and knowledge of DS solutions and services, as well as customer industry and workflow knowledge. You will create new opportunities using social selling techniques and work the full sales lifecycle, working alongside technical sales experts and account executives.

What will your role be?


  • Use multiple tactics including social selling, phone, and email to prospect new accounts and engage with potential new customers
  • Engage with potential clients and introduce them to the cloud solutions
  • Help grow the North America cloud sales team within our client
  • Respond to inbound leads and inquiries generated by website content and marketing campaigns
  • Support execution of Account Based Marketing campaigns as part of a cross-functional team
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of our clients solutions, services, industries and workflows
  • Work with sales Channel/Indirect Partners Conduct qualifying conversations with our core audience in a consultative approach over the phone to determine business needs, budget, and timeline
  • Document execution of tactics in CRM
  • Assist Sales and Marketing with gathering intelligence on accounts and prospective buyers using online research activities
  • Assist Marketing with promotion and execution of regional events
  • Leverage internal and external training resources to develop and expand your business development skill set
  • Participate in regular meetings with Marketing and Sales

Your Key Success Factors


  • Bachelor’s degree, ideally in a business discipline
  • 2-4 years sales experience
  • Engineer background is a plus
  • Knowledge or strong interest in Cloud and SaaS offerings
  • Positive, self-motivated individual with high level of enthusiasm and willingness to learn and incorporate coaching and instructions into daily tasks and assignments
  • Strong understanding of the values of teamwork, hard work and determination
  • Work onsite at our clients main campus
  • Ability to work independently and/or within a collaborative team structure
  • Highly organized with critical attention to details
  • Strong functional use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); knowledge of CRM, a plus

Our client offers a $70,000 salary and a generous commission and bonus program that will yield a realistic first-year total compensation in the $90,000 - $100,000 range They also offer a comprehensive benefits package including Health, Dental and Vision Insurance, 401k with match, Paid Time Off, expense reimbursements and many income and career advancement opportunities.
