Responsibilities are to support the direct sales of automated Antenna and Over The Air test measurement systems, and their respective subsystems, including RF subsystems, anechoic chambers, radar absorbing material (RAM), software, and electro-mechanical positioning systems. This includes writing technical and financial proposals of antenna measurement systems and derived products and services (maintenance contracts, support products & software, etc.).

 

A Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree preferred (a combination of education and experience will  be considered) coupled with 2+ years of business-to-business (B2B) sales experience of high-tech RF products/services is preferred

  • Account management activities including on-site customer visits and activities, maintaining and updating information on our CRM (Salesforce), quotes, proposals, technical writing, pre-sales support, attendance of bidder’s conferences and trade shows.
  • Grow existing relationships and develop new customer relationships over the long term in a niche market
  • Performing market analysis to understand the competition’s strengths and weaknesses, and exploiting those to our sales advantage.
  • Oversight and responsibility for use of an  Inside Sales Assistant to offload the above responsibilities, as needed.
  • Developing and managing regular sales forecasts.
  • Understanding customer needs and identifying how our testing products can meet customer’s expectations.
  • Providing input and feedback to product marketing, service and development groups on customer product and application requirements.
  • Determining approaches to sales assignments to achieve key sales objectives

  

 

  • US citizenship required
    • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and customer interface skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office
    • Experience driving the sales process across internal and external teams (channel, engineering, marketing, field)
    • Ability establish positive and lasting customer relationships with diverse (perhaps sometimes difficult) personalities
    • Customer-oriented focus, responsiveness, courtesy, integrity, strong work ethic, affability and the ability to develop customer relationships will be essential.
    • Ability to develop and track both short- and long-term sales opportunities for small, medium, and large instrumentation systems, working in conjunction with our internal Engineering teams, which will provide technical assistance and assist in some customer presentations and visits.
      • Ability to work independently with limited direction in a fast-paced environment; must be a high-energy, motivated self-starter
      • Ability to adapt to changes in roles and responsibilities
        • Pluses- Sales experience with RF & microwave products, general understanding of antennas, technical background & experience with Antenna, RCS, or EMC measurements, understanding of telecommunications, protocols, and standards, experience with CRM and SAP software
        • Travel requirements expected to be on the order of 25%

 

Lifting or Other Physical Requirements to Perform the Duties of The Job:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting/standing at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

 

Compensation is based on a combination of salary and commissions
